The Bakers Pig, run by Liz and Andrew Baker, produce an award-winning range of gluten-free cured meats and fermented salamis from their homereared pigs, raised on their traditional, hill side farm located on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
When Liz enrolled in Lilwen’s empowerment workshop, they were facing a number of challenges; “covid-19 presented a lot of challenges and sent me into a bit of a panic about money. Six weeks before the workshop started, the curing chamber had broken and we lost £4,000 worth of goods overnight which had knocked my confidence a lot. I was doubting my own decision making skills
