S1 EP4: In this episode Lilwen speaks to Irish Farmer and Consultant Brendan Guinan on his farm Fior Bhia Farm ( translates to True Food ) in Portlaoise in Co Laoise, Ireland he talks about his biological agroforest farm and goes that step further to call it exactly what it is chemical free farming. When I drove down Brendan’s farm track in my old shogun he was busy cutting up branches that had fallen in the storm on the side of the road was generous with his time in sharing openly with me about his early life and how he has chosen to farm in this sustainable way. He left me to attend to a customer who comes every weekend for their meat for their Sunday roast. His videos on Tiktok are a hit with straight talking no nonsense way of farming and a cool pride about those choices that was compelling to find out more about his farm and business. Was proud to have learnt from his grandmother a pioneer back in her day and instinctively is now practicing those old natural methods to raise his own family.
